Mingyur Rinpoche Visits the Akong Tulku Rinpoche Memorial Soup Kitchen

All India Bikkhu Sangha, Bodh Gaya,
February 5, 2020

An annual feature of the Kagyu Monlam Chenmo, the Akong Tulku Rinpoche Memorial Soup Kitchen, located in the grounds of the All India Bhikku Sangha, aims to feed all who arrive with a nutritious lunch. It is sponsored by students of Akong Rinpoche in collaboration with the Kagyupa International Monlam Trust. The Monlam secretary, Jangchup Lingpa, plays a crucial role in organising it each year but the project relies heavily on the support of volunteers from those attending the Kagyu Monlam.
