The 5th Hong Kong Kagyu Monlam is really successful

The main organizer of this time is the center of Venerable Zuri Rinpoche, Karma Choejin Ling ( or Zuri Mahamudra Buddhist Centre in English ), they have offered their brand new centre to be the venue of the prayer and The 5th Hong Kong Kagyu Monlam commence on the same day as the grand opening of this new centre. Under the great effort of the entire group of wonderful volunteer, the venue is set up very nicely, the altar, torma and flowers are all beautifully arranged. Certainly the flow and operation went smoothly as well.

His Eminence Kyabje Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche presides over the Ceremony accompanied by many other venerable Rinpoches and Lamas including Karma Khenchen Rinpoche, Tenpe Nyima Rinpoche, Pad-Tul Rinpoche, Tulku Pasang Rinpoche, Khenpo Tsultrim Rinpoche, Khenpo Kelsang, Khenpo Kunga and Damkar Khenpo. There are over 80 Sangha and hundreds of lay people participated in the prayer. Everybody was very sincere. Many of them made prayers and offerings requesting the longevity of His Holiness the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorjee, His Holiness's Activity wide like sky, flourishing of the Buddhist doctrines and also the peace and harmony of all sentient beings.

During the Mar-me Monlam, butter lamp offering, at the very last evening, to thanks for the great work of all of the wonderful volunteers, we presented the Kagyu Monlam shoulder bag to every one of them. We conclude the Monlam by handing over the flag to Tulku Pasang Rinpoche, the resident Rinpoche of Damkar Bodhi Buddhist Center, the main organizer of The 6th Hong Kong Kagyu Monlam, symbolizing passing on the holly responsibility like from torch to torch.
